1. Before starting work, conduct an inspection to confirm that everything is complete and in good condition, and that there are no obstacles or other personnel within the range of movement of the boom and bucket. Only after sounding the alarm can work be carried out.
2. When excavating, it is not advisable to eat soil too deeply each time, and the bucket should not be lifted too forcefully to avoid damaging the machinery or causing overturning accidents. When the bucket falls, be careful not to impact the tracks and frame.
3. Personnel who cooperate with excavator operations to clean the bottom, level the ground, and repair slopes must work within the excavator's turning radius. If it is necessary to work within the excavator's turning radius, the excavator must stop rotating and brake the turning mechanism before starting work. At the same time, both on and off board personnel should take care of each other, cooperate closely, and ensure safety.
4. Vehicles and pedestrians are not allowed to stay within the range of excavator loading activities. When unloading onto a car, wait for the car to come to a stop and the driver to leave the cab before turning the bucket and unloading onto the car. When the excavator rotates, the bucket should be avoided from crossing the top of the cab as much as possible. When unloading, the bucket should be lowered as much as possible, but be careful not to collide with any part of the car.
5. When the excavator rotates, the rotary clutch should be used in conjunction with the rotary mechanism brake to rotate smoothly. Sharp rotation and emergency braking are prohibited.
6. Before the bucket leaves the ground, it is not allowed to rotate or walk. When the bucket is fully loaded and suspended in the air, the boom and walking are not allowed.
7. When a tracked excavator is moving, the arm should be placed in the forward direction of travel, and the bucket should not exceed a height of 1 meter from the ground. And brake the rotary mechanism.
8. When the excavator goes uphill, the driving wheel should be at the back and the arm should be on top; When the excavator goes downhill, the driving wheel should be in front and the arm should be behind. The slope up and down shall not exceed 20 °. When going downhill, you should drive at a slow speed and do not change gears or coast in neutral. When excavators pass through tracks, soft soil, and clay roads, they should be laid with cushion plates.
9. When excavating loose soil on a high working face, larger stones and other debris inside the working face should be removed to prevent collapse and accidents. If the soil is excavated into a suspended state and cannot collapse naturally, manual handling is required, and it is not allowed to be smashed or pressed down with a bucket to avoid accidents.
10. Excavators should not turn too quickly during operation. If the curve is too large, it should be turned in stages, each within 20 degrees.
11. When connecting the power supply to an electric excavator, the capacitor on the switch box must be removed. Non electricians are strictly prohibited from installing electrical equipment. When the excavator is running, the cables should be moved by personnel wearing pressure resistant rubber shoes or insulated gloves. And pay attention to preventing cable abrasion and leakage.
12. During the operation of excavators, it is strictly prohibited to carry out repairs, maintenance, tightening and other work. If there is any abnormal noise, odor, or high temperature rise during the work process, the vehicle should be stopped immediately for inspection.
13. When maintaining, repairing, lubricating, and replacing the top pulley of the arm, the arm should be lowered to the ground.
